Terms of use

Draft — these terms are being finalised and have not yet been reviewed. Final terms will replace this page before Shopping Mate is publicly available.

Using Shopping Mate

You need an account to use Shopping Mate. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.

Shared lists

When you share a list, the people you invite can see and change it. Only share lists with people you trust.

Prices

Prices shown in the app come from shops' websites and from receipts. They are a guide only — the price at the checkout is the one that counts, and shops can change prices at any time.

Mate and AI features

Mate and other AI features can make mistakes. Check anything important, such as a total or a price, before relying on it.

Credits

Some AI features use credits. Credits are bought in the app, are used up as you use those features, and have no cash value.
